Beautifully updated center chimney colonial located in an extremely pastoral setting in the charming Ashuelot district of Winchester. Many, many antique features set the tone for this classic property. 5 fireplaces, all said to be working. Beautiful paneling and floors throughout. Kitchen is all updated but keeps a period feel to include a great Glenwood wood stove for cooking as well as supplementary heat. Many system updates to include a new Buderus propane heating system. Great recreation possibility as the rail trail disects the property and river frontage. Great house, great location, great price !

I’ve been watching this lovely property for some time. I do think the old listing photos show the house in a much more favorable light, including nice ones of the garden spaces. I love the kitchen in this house, especially the pantry….Wow, could I use that..!

I remember this one. Thanks for posting the older link Kelly, I like those photos better – much more realistic. Beautiful home, hope the ‘right’ buyer comes along soon!

Colonial is not my favorite, but this house is pretty much perfect.

I love the colors, inside and out. It looks as if the wainscot, in the rooms that have them, are made up of two wide boards!
