Welcome to Maplehurst Villa (historical name)! Whether this estate becomes your next hobby farm, AirBnB/Bed & Breakfast or family homestead, your future awaits. This home was built in 1900 and has been extensively maintained & updated with historically accurate renovations (list available). A few of the upgrades are: insulation, kitchen cabinets, quartz counter-tops, plumbing, roof, appliances, floors, electrical, in floor heating, jetted tub, security system, metal roof and even a WORKING Elmira stove (custom insulated double walled stove pipe) in the kitchen - a rare find. The uniqueness of this home has attracted professional photographers such as Sasha Onyshchenko, who has provided photos of the main floor dining room, parlour and foyer to help showcase this unique home! History buffs would love to know that the Lumber Baron who built the home also owned and parked the first Cadillac in Southern New Brunswick right in this very driveway. In the 40s the home operated as the "Maplehurst Inn". For hobby farm enthusiasts, know that the 38x46 barn has 10 box stalls and a run in shed, not to mention over 10 acres of land! For those looking to settle into a picturesque country estate with views of the Bay of Fundy and the Shepody River, ample space for hosting & even a carport designed for an RV - this home could be yours. Maplehurst Villa is a unique find. Do not pass up your opportunity to book a private viewing. Click the video link for virtual tour.

Wow – I’m actually quite surprised at how ornate and elegant the interior is! It’s lovely. Also, how wonderful is that old photo?!?!

Well now the first item of business would be to repaint the exterior in that original color scheme! My imagination is saying it was blue though of course I can’t know for sure.

Excellent wood/coal range there in the kitchen! Looks like it vey well may be original to the house; or at any rate, that model is the same age as the house.
Also looks like it gets frequent, if not daily, use during the winter. The triple lined stack is contemporary, and expertly installed, (you can see it if you watch the video). Also, the heat convection fan is likely there for a reason. Such a sharp little guy. I really like it!

I think this is a beautiful home with sensitively added updates, for the most part. I agree with Bethany that the exterior would really stand out with an appropriate paint scheme.
All of the natural woodwork is a great feature, too! I am jealous of the coal/wood stove; I probably wouldn’t use it, but it sure would look neat in the kitchen of my project house.

Anyone else see the balcony appears to be falling off the third floor in the old photo?

Great solid looking house. Wonderful staircase.
