Park Rapids is a great little town. My grandparents built a cabin on a lake near PR in the 1970s, and I spent time every summer wandering around downtown, visiting shops and the Park Theater. I would check out books from that Carnegie library a block up from this house. Very much a tourist-centric economy, however. I’m trying to recall this house but I can’t bring it to mind. It must be a result of having kids.

I don’t remember ever seeing a home of this age where the front door enters on a staircase landing. This is a cool house inside, which you’d never guess from the out.

  4. My parents own a lake home just outside of Park Rapids. It’s a nice little town, with the best 4th of July fireworks in the area! This house looks like a hidden gem in the northwoods.
