      1875 Limestone house
      Loire Valley, France,

what style would you say this is? It has low lines and overhanging eaves like a prairie but despite the horizontal accent of the dark blue lines on the house, the windows are vertical and not horizontal. But it also has colonial revival elements (door with fan/sidelights, newel post) and various kinds of fireplaces. Some trim around the doors is rather Victorian (rosettes). I guess it’s a nice blend, so I’d say it’s an eclectic 🙂

Congrats to the owners who have a perfectly maintained and beautifully done home to offer. As a totally side note: I was listening to some young people talk about the “drinking game” while watching HGTV’s wanna buy a home shows. You drew for certain comments. Then every time your comment was uttered during the show, you had to do a shot. Comments like: The woodwork is painted! The kitchen doesn’t have “X” appliances. And etc. I think you’re missing a potential income Kelly. The OHD shot game! Don’t like alcohol? Use bite sized “Snickers”. The players would draw from a stack of potential comments. (The potential is endless) and every time that comment is made during discussion, the holder would have to chug a shot. Although in full disclosure, the people talking about it said they seldom got to the end of the show without being drunk. lol
