For such a trendy interior, it’s a nice surprise to see the old bathrooms still in place. Yay!

I don’t want to sound like a broken record on this post but, again, many thanks to the owners for saving those nice tiled bathrooms

Superior, WI is a very cold wintry place, and across from Duluth, MN so they are sort of twin cities (Duluth/Superior). A lovely area IF you like winter a lot. I think the home is really quite nice, albeit I would make some normal changes to taste, but all in all I wouldn’t mind being in this home. Not sure how they handle snow removal in the alley, but that has always been a huge drawback to my purchasing a home in this climate.

Lake Superior is the largest of the Great Lakes and is 350 miles long. At its deepest it’s about 1,300 feet deep. It only rarely gets lower than -30 degrees (34 C) inland. But if you want to visit during the winter, bring a hefty warm coat! All this remembered from a high school geography class. 🙂 Lake Superior Whitefish is a popular sporting fish (and very tasty).

In December, 2018 Superior/Duluth saw an average temperature of 22F (-5C), an average low of 5F (-15C), and gets just over a foot of snow per month. Really not that bad considering what the areas on the other side of the lakes get. Plowing the alleyway is not that big of a deal, just run a snowplow down it.

I love the tin ceiling in the basement, don’t care if it’s anywhere near period correct or not. I like the blue paint/wallpaper in the dining room. Other rooms I’d change.

And as always, love the bathrooms.
