This house has charm and character with its built-ins, doors, hardware, wide wood floors, and so much more. If you check out the street view, linked up top under the address, the road isn’t as close as it appears in the listing photo.

Nice house. I like the design of the garage part. Would like to see in there too. Probably would make a nice shop or studio space. That electric meter right on the front is a bit unfortunate, but maybe it could at least be painted to match the house to minimize it.

The road doesn’t look that close to me in the photos either actually. And River Road doesn’t exactly look like a major road anyway.

I’d love to see the rest of the house, not sure where the “as is” is. Lovely home. ?

I think that’s what was used to keep water hot during daily use, notice it’s right next to an oven. There was no running water back then, possibly had to be pumped outside and brought in the house by buckets.

Fabulous fascinating house that has had some remodeling somewhere in its history. Much pretty stuff there — I’d like to see the garage part too; could possibly be adapted to another bathroom or two. There’s are so many interesting things in this place!

The kitchen floor is the same as we had in my childhood home about 62 years ago. We replaced it with green and white asbestos tiles.

Interesting home! Would love to see the interior of the garage and the bathroom. I agree that it’s unfortunate that the electric box is on the front of the house, but perhaps it could be moved just around the corner. Nice acreage too and room for chickens.
