One of the few times we’ll see a realtor add detailed architectural info to a listing. If shown photos of the Before and After without explanation, I wonder how many folks would prefer it without the columns.

The vintage bathrooms are great with the later color tile, a better upgrade than the columns imo.

I think this is a real beauty! Love the kitchen and dining rooms, then I saw the rest of it and love it all! Great tile baths!

Good point re the porch, StevenF. Everything is done in nice subtle colors, with appropriate painted woodwork. I would change nothing, decor-wise. The lack of a formal entrance hall seems strange, however.

I’m curious about the screen for the stair (stepped wall under an archway) which is echoed in the fireplace overmantel. Does anyone think these might be original or were they a later addition? I’ve never seen anything quite like it.

I’ve seen similar in Edwardian homes, so I’d guess it’s original. It would look better unpainted, with urns and a trailing vine or 2.
