Tudor style for the most part is ok… cept for the kitchens and bathrooms. I love the color of the kitchen cabinets in this one just makes it so clean and inviting. The blue bathroom i could swoon.

I love the colored baths. The style is a little understated, compared to, say, houses in L.A. But the tile has lovely shading and the borders are pretty and not too wild. I think I should use these for inspiration when I backdate my bathroom—that is, not go crazy with every period detail I can think of. Virginia bathrooms of late 20s–early 30s vintage aren’t as detail-laden as they would be in California (where my favorite bathrooms are).
