What a lovely setting! I am curious to where that door in the brick wall goes…

My country living dream. I could really make this place my little nest; if only the street view didn’t show that it’s on a big road. I pictured it at the end of a mile-long gravel driveway.

That brick wall that has the door isn’t the same kind of brick that is in that other room. I am taking a wild stab at this but that was probably where the fireplace WAS. My guess is they probably had a wood stove? Then decided on not to even have that as the carpet goes right up to the brick wall. There’s probably some nice floors under that ugly green carpet! Judging on the colors on the walls, they liked green a whole lot! Wonder where that mantle got off to…hmmm…! Still love the built-ins and those tall windows. Lets in a lot more light but the house still looks dark inside. I’d dump that bath tub w/enclosure and put in a nice claw foot tub! Houses like this always had them!

I really like this house yet feel so sad while looking at it. I think it is all the dark photography. It deserves to be filled with light and laughter.
