That’s a lovely area of St Paul. This is an adorable craftsman and so typical of the quality of home you can find in the twin cities. There are whole neighbourhoods with adorable houses of different sizes. The yard is charming, and they did a wonderful job with the kitchen. It is possible to do upgrades and not look like it was plopped in from the 1970s or 80s. Not a high point in design in my opinion. I love the tiled backsplash, it coordinations nicely with the beautiful fireplace in the adjoining sitting area without being to matchy.

I was born in St Paul and spent my early years in a house at the other end of “Tangletown”. I loved to ride my bike down these streets and look at all these cute, eclectic homes. It used to be so much prettier before Dutch Elm Disease killed all the huge, arching elm trees. It felt like riding down a cool, green, peaceful tunnel. I kinda miss it, but I hate cold winters.

I am drooling over that kitchen! Also, the tile work and fireplace and all the new oak woodwork are gorgeous! I was born in Minnesota and St. Paul is a great town to explore.
