The Georgia House - This Bend Icon was built in 1913 by A. L. French, a local business owner. This timeless home is perched on a 1/3 acre lot with an eagles nest view of Downtown Bend. The custom renovation of this masterpiece was completed in 2013 by Copperline Homes and is featured in the November 2015 issue of American Bungalow Magazine. The historic main house has just under 2500 sqft of living space and is highlighted by its fir wood accents and cozy warm vibe. The 336 sqft rustic ''''carriage house'''' with kitchenette is a perfect place for the many out of town visitors you are sure to welcome. The immaculate private patio and mature landscaping make the exterior just as inviting as inside. The recently built oversized two car garage with alley access is completely finished with 2nd level storage. Only a 5-minute walk to Downtown Bend and the Old Mill District!

This is a lovely home. Beautiful inside and out and great curb appeal. Kitchen is too modern for me, but the rest is comfy, homey and in many ways much like it was when built. Bend is a fast growing city, fun to visit, lots to see. It’s a bit hot in summer, but less rainy than my side of the hills (Willamette Valley) so it’s very popular. They’ll likely sell this quick.

God Bless these owners for renovating authentically. To my taste they did not ruin anything. sounds like 3 dwelling spaces to make $$ with rentals. Wonderful place

The patio! The view! The interior and exterior! The stonework! The woodwork! There’s not a single thing to change!

I am not a big fan of Craftsmen but this one has been superbly maintained and the decor and exterior suit the surrounding environs so well that I would be tempted to buy it but on the other hand there are a lot of log homes in the area too so…..

Beautiful home-but it looks like most has gone through quite a renovation. The listing states “Doors/Windows: Skylight(s), Dbl. Pane Windows, French Doors, Insulated Doors, Insulated Windows, Wood Framed Windows” So-many windows have been replaced. The bedroom is lovely-but the beams probably are not original. It is stunning-but I guess I am more a restorer and not a renovator. I bet this house was almost gutted and redone.

We don’t really know what they started with, perhaps it was back dating the home from previous bad remodels. I don’t think it’s fair to judge what’s been done without knowing anything about the home before.

The woodwork! And what a great job they did with the kitchen and bathroom remodels. They kept it true to the house, no Home Depot granite.
