Didn’t expect this house to feel so warm – and with a proper eat-in kitchen, no less…

Paxton is an interesting town almost on the Indiana border in far eastern Illinois. The town has a surprisingly large number of vintage homes for its size including several documented George Barber designed homes. Although this home is post-Victorian, it is a nice representative of its time. The impressive columned front porch makes a world of difference in what otherwise might have been a fairly plain house.

So much potential! I’d absolutely love to move my family in here and make it our own.

I’ve been watching this home for more than a year now. I’m in love with the kitchen and, well, everything. Family lives in Penfield, so if i could move here, I would be so close to my children.
