Build date given is 1937 which looking at some of the exterior details says that date might be a bit off. I can see the porch columns being closer to that date.

Some people are able to make their homes feel so happy and homey meanwhile mine looks like it was decorated by nine different personalities. 😀

I love that retro kitchen and would keep it as part of the evolving story of the house!

This house is as sweet as can be!! I’m with you Kelly, my decorating is “eclectic” at best!

Kelly: Your home probably looks very cohesive and homey to other people. Perhaps you are, like many of us, a little too critical of your own space. I like to take photos of my interior spaces so that I can be more objective because I think I am probably not critical enough. Then I remove what offended me though it often makes its’ way back in. I think this home is very charming and warm but I would probably be not quite so happy with living in it. It is so difficult to pin down which elements are the ones that do that magical thing that makes a place appealing.I think the colours go a long way here – a very long way. They combine and brighten everything.

I’ve been looking at a stone house around the corner from this one, haven’t convinced my wife it should be ours yet. This is a beautiful home on what I think is the BEST street in town! High on a hill. A block from the public swimming pool. Two blocks from a very busy old downtown. I love it! I live 25 miles away and work at a winery just outside of Pulaski.

Wade I live in Montana and we are looking to relocate to Tennesee . Would you recommend this town ? You sound very knowledgable about the area. It is just my husband and I . Our kids are grown and one lives in Wisconsin the other in Florida. Tennesee would be a middle ground for us. Love this house!!!

Beautiful home full of personality and staging that doesn’t take away that personality. Terrific photos that really show off the light and colour. What a wonderful house and post!
