George Washington didn't sleep here but it was available. This eighteenth century jewel just beams with possibilities. 8/10 mile off the highway affords privacy and solitude. Property is teeming with wildlife and history, Post and beam construction with two fireplaces and off the grid just as it was in Washington's day. Two car garage/workshop plus storage shed and Cluckingham Palace (Chicken house). A few ancient fruit trees as well.

Nicely done, Mr. Realtor. I’d love to see some summer photos.

This is definitely the kind of setting and state my husband and I love and i know he has the vision and ability to turn it into something special, but would he ever get around to it? After all, he has been working on a new coffee table for 6 years…

Wow! I got confused looking at these pictures because I didn’t know where I was. Can’t imagine having my bed directly beneath a window much less such a huge window.
Could you imagine having a fire going in that stove in the kitchen and having to work at getting to the oven or cooktop? Ow!
Wish there were more pictures and then ones in the spring or summer. This property is just quirky enough to be really interesting.

I’d buy for the “covered bridge” barn out back. ☺️

You had me at “Cluckingham Palace!”

I am THRILLED to see all of that unpainted woodwork! It’s so sad to see those places that have tried “updating” a home like this with whatever the color du jour Love it!
