Looks like someone took a lovely colonial and tacked on some Swiss chalet porches and ornamentation. The interior eight-panel doors are beautiful, and the house has so much potential! Interesting collection in the basement. I love the unpainted woodwork!!! I wish they’d showed the bathrooms. There’s a tantalizing glimpse of one that looks like it has old subway tile (a favorite of mine) still on the walls. Get rid of the wallpaper and carpeting, and it’s a really nice house. It looks like maybe they took out the wall between the living room and dining room? There’s nice wainscotting on what I’m assuming is the dining room. I hope someone buys it who appreciates it.

The chalet details were so unexpected! And I love the wagon wheel lights in the basement, I would be hard not to move those upstairs.

What a great home! I am surprised that it doesn’t have a fireplace. A chalet themed house would be perfect for an inglenook, I would think! Maybe it is hidden by some of their awesome collection!

I have re-read the description and there is a fireplace in the basement. I would love to see it.
