I just might go the 2.5 hours and view this property. My question is what is that big polished wood area in the dining room? With some love, this home could be cozy. The kitchen is poorly laid out, so it might take re-doing to put it right. The flooring has to come up as well. I think that with some nice white paint those cupboards would shine, and new glass doors would be great.
Would love to see what’s under that carpeting. Wish there was more acreage available but with the teeny quarter acre I have now . . .

Yup, it is a pocket door, if you can imagine it. The shininess of it fooled me.

You are absolutely right Dianna! I checked again and saw the living room. The shininess deceived me and I didn’t expect a pocket door in this house. thanks.

Regarding the wood panel in the dining room. It’s a sliding pocket door. It’s closed in one picture, and the very next picture it is open. Lovely wood

You might be able to buy more acreage to add on to it.
