Stunning historic Victorian home guaranteed to take your breath away! This home has the elegance, beauty, artistry and craftsmanship of a by-gone era, but with modern updates for complete comfort. The Iris is often associated with royalty, and this regal flower puts on quite a show in this home & garden. The favorite flower of one of the original owners, its presence is made known in the amazing stained-glass dining room windows and in other touches throughout the home. The Master Bedroom boasts a sitting room fit for a king & queen with Asian inspired accents, a fireplace and French doors. A partially fenced in yard with landscaping reminiscent of a royal garden, deck, pergola, gazebo and wrap around porch invite entertaining and relaxation outdoors. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a three car garage complete this grand home in the heart of Ashland's historic district.

WOW is right! This house has so many fine features (snow not being one of them – LOL). Beautiful trim, paper, windows, etc. I even like the kitchen…a lot. I would have to remove all the track lighting, but that’s a small thing. I could really be happy in this home. Congrats to the owners.

It is extremely rare that I like a kitchen, but I’m so in love with this house! And you’re right, the track lighting is a no, and I would have to see the mirrored bathroom to see in person before deciding if I like it or not

This house is amazing! I like everything about it as well as the wall paper. We have considered antique style wall paper but never found anywhere that has what we are looking for. I’m sure great and authentic looking paper is pricey but if anyone has leads on companies we should check out please advise. New owners of this house will surely be lucky!

Ditto on your comments, Jamesthegood. I, too, have been seeking a source for reasonably priced period style wallpaper – if anyone has a suggestion, please share! (although I suspect anything less than the Bradbury papers may disappoint…)

As far as this house, I think it would be a fun challenge to bring the exterior up to the interior standard… Its rather bland appearance almost caused me to pass it by – as I suspect some homebuyers may already have – what a disappointment that would be!

This wonderful house is amazing! I love everything about it but most favorite is the dragonfly wallpaper, being a dragon fly fan myself. We have considered going with authentic looking victorian wallpaper but have never found many places that have what we are looking for. I’m quite sure it’s pricey but if anyone can advise me on companies I should check out please feel free to comment. The new owners of this home will surely be smitten with it.

I’d start deducting the period lighting fixtures for anything less than ask: And were it mine, the newel post fixture would NOT convey. Gorge!

Any ideas what the beautiful Aesthetic panels are above the bar? Could they be paper? I don’t think they’re glass. How clever.

This is a beautiful and well appointed home. If we were moving we’d definitely consider it! We live in Duluth, MN, not far from Ashland. I hope that potential buyers appreciate the beauty and expense of the wallcoverings, stained glass, etc. It’s an incredibly stunning area near Lake Superior and all it’s wonders. I will be contacting the realtor to ask the seller about purchasing some of the house’s finery.

Beautiful house, I LIKE the Bradbury & Bradbury wallpaper. Love the staircase, stained glass on the landing and the newel post light fixture. The kitchen is very nice, fits right in with the rest of the house, I would get rid of the track lights though.

Such a beautiful house. The owners have great taste and a keen eye for appropriate colors and wallpaper. I have to admit the main room had me a little confused, though. I was expecting to see a fireplace where they have a dresser and a mirror above it. There is a bump-out into the room and a masonry chimney is there. Instead the fireplace is in the inside corner of the room.

That said, this house was quite a surprise. The owners should be proud of their home!

Thud. I sure didn’t see that coming after viewing the outside. The interior of this house is so seamlessly integrated that I can’t imagine it with any other furniture and decor. I would definitely have to buy this one completely furnished. So many things here that are normally not on my list of favorites, but they all work perfectly here.
