FOR THE PURIST.... Take a Big step back in time & roll up your sleeves. 1874 was a great year, a slower pace, living peacefully without technology. This adorable home, on one of the nicest streets in Delhi, has so much to offer. Lots of original details such as wide board floors, 6 over 6 pane windows, Wainscotting on Kitchen Walls / Ceiling & Dining Rm walls, Built in Cupboards in DR & Kitchen, plaster walls & wood staircase. Front and back covered porches with a great little back yard & a large storage shed. Needs lots of TLC and updates. Good roof & furnace.

Fabulous! A bit of elbow grease and spit & polish is all it needs; so great!

Oh yes, this would be a delight to fix up and live in! I LOVE the outside trim and board & batten, as well as the garage in back — reminds me of photos of cozy towns from early days. Delicious potential here.

Lovely possibilities. Though if I lived here I’d never give it the attention it deserves — I’d always be off hiking in the mountains searching for Sam Gribley…

Also, I noticed the realtor’s description touted plaster walls as a feature. Hopefully this is the start of a trend where people start appreciating plaster and stop gutting these poor homes to the studs.

The fact that the kitchen and bathroom are not shown leads me to believe that they might be original or close. Fingers crossed!

Maybe the “bathroom” is “out back”?

the fact to me that there’s no kitchen or bathroom pictures scares me quite a bit. I can only hope it’s original kitchen and bathroom! But the mere fact that there isn’t any pictures, scares the crap out of me..lol.

No pics of DR so no pics of built-ins either, Mmm

“For the Purist” hooked me. However, I did notice one suspended ceiling… But those are easy to remove. Love the plaster and windows.
