    Wow, two great houses for the price of one. I love how bright and airy they both are. Too bad the cool old store doesn’t stay. I wonder if flooding is an issue.

      These houses have a river view…the mighty Mississippi River. 🙂 Reserve is upriver from New Orleans. You could walk out your front door and with mere steps be watching the tugs up close and personal. And about 5 blocks south of the Godchaux House of the Godchaux Sugar Company fame. I’d give my eyeteeth for it!

        i don’t see a river view.. the levee is higher than the houses. you would have to climb up this levee to see the river. i have toured this area a few years ago.

    I would guess there is a levee to keep the Mississippi in check, but Mother Nature has a mind of her own & that would worry me. Sights & sounds would still be cool.
