Another one I took from my sampler list. I like the purple, the exterior design is cute and is a pretty, shaded lot.

My favorite room is what looks like an office with the huge windows. Did anyone ever read My Sweet Audrina by V.C. Andrews? For some reason that room reminded me of it. Perhaps I’d make that the library although it feels like it’s suppose to be a dining room or parlor, the interior layout is confusing.

Isn’t that first shot just the prettiest thing! I loves me some purplavender too: and how impressive that they were inspired by the flora in the complimentary paint scheme without giving in to matchy matchy in the least. Gorge!

The windows are more than bold; they’re freakin’ fantastic! Definitely the most memorable Queen Anne sash I’ve ever seen… I love that bay window!

i would have loved to see a closer shot of those windows!
How amazing they survived all these year as they are quite dramatic.

It amazes me that so often the most interesting and visually arresting aspects of many old houses are still overlooked by the very people who are tasked with promoting and selling them! I have noticed that many realtors are now starting to hone in on architectural details, but there is much progress to be made still…

Love the houses on this site. I just don’t understand all the severly dark colors the rooms are painted…the reds, blues, greens….they make the rooms look so dark and smaller.

It’s a matter of taste, everyone is different or else we’d all hate each other over wanting the same things.

OK, I absolutely adore this place. The color scheme, the wonderful yard, and the fact that it looks lived in, and loved! I don’t even care that it’s across from a storage place. Besides, my purple Jeep would look stunning parked in front of that garage.

My favorite type of home and this one doesn’t disappoint. That exterior color is my fave color as well. “Honey, I know what I want for my birthday this month!!”
