This house might be a good compromise between those who like houses of the Victorian era but do not want to be overwhelmed by the effusive ornateness some Victorians have. It appears some updates and upgrades have been made in more recent years but overall the house decor is restrained and tastefully done.

Love it! These deep overhanging eves give it a prairie-style twist!

How exactly do those 2/3-1/3 floor-to-ceiling windows work? Are they double-hung so that you can either slide down the upper side or slide up the lower side but just of 1/3 as it’s way taller than the one on top?

This home has everything I love about old houses, especially the transoms!

A few changes of paint and wall paper to my likings and this would be a wonderful home to live in. Is that a screen print of a landscape on the back porch? Neat looking.. Pretty decorate for Christmas. Sitting on that front porch would be lovely; dreaming my life away

Just curious… Am I the only one who gets excited every time I see exposed brick in a kitchen?
