A great candidate for restoration project. It looks like the house has suffered more from neglect then any previous remodel. The ceiling that’s been removed raises some concerns. Its most likely in need of mechanical up grades but that almost always comes with a house of this age. Listing doesn’t identify if there’s any public utilities. Partial basement plus crawl space. The 2 story out building is an added attraction and the house shows original windows and the trim. The house sets on almost (.98) acre. A great rural setting. Sadly, not in my location.

A really great “good bones” house. I love the fireplaces and the latticed doorway. It seems like this house has had little to no serious remuddling, just a real need for love and maintenance.

Aww what a sad little button of a home, another elderly person? I sure hope someone has a heart to save the little princess.

Theres moss on the roof, and the removed ceiling in the living room tells me, your first project would be a new tear off roof. I hope thats the only pricey necessary repair that needs doing. I’m wondering what shape the floors are in. The outside looks as if it could do with a real good power wash, but the siding looks good. I think its just been a case of neglect here, and going by the ramp out back and the scooter in the living room, that it wasn’t intentional. But, the house needs updating, redecoration wise. I wonder what the inside of that other building looks like? It could be an apartment, or a guest cottage. I hope someone with an appreciation of this style of house buys it! Its a great lot, nice location, fantastic price.

Oh! W/S is such a great area! Wish it could be part
of my world. Cool Moravian history.

My heart hurt looking at these photos. I could see that a family had lived there in yesteryears, the bright purple bedroom of a little girl. There was a story here. Then a lone chair and the sad room with the bed and a old box of wrapping paper from happier days.. Tears for the person who occupied that chair and this old but worthy home.
