The Roanoke house is a wonderful (1920’s ?) house that’s been renovated a couple of times with new kitchens and more paint. The exterior hasn’t changed much and there’s still some good stuff inside, but I can only imagine how special it was back in the day.

I assumed the San Bernardino house would be my favorite of the bunch, but… surprised myself by liking the Milwaukee house the best. Really like its interior!

Oh, man. I am moving to Maine. So hands off that house- it’s MINE! I love it all. The location, all that natural light, the layout of both the main house and the cabin. At this point, I don’t know if I’d rather live in the cabin, or the house!

I’ve been in the Woolwich Maine house before it was so completely renovated.
It is one of a group of 18th century manor houses are on the very productive farmland surrounding Merrymeeting Bay.
The original access was from the water, so the current front door was the original back door – which explains the unusual placement of the barn in front of the house.

I had meant to come back to look at all the pictures of the San Bernardino house. It’s such a cool place—so many great details. I love the round room and the tile on the staircase in the foyer and the shape of the windows in that one bedroom, which echoes the unusual shape of the arches throughout the house. I’m relieved to see the original baths are mostly untouched, too. I wish the same were true of the kitchen!
