Very nice! Enjoy the natural woodwork and pretty floors. Fun to see a lot of pictures correctly hung from the picture rail near the ceiling. Also noticed some nice, original light fixtures (gasoliers I believe).

Gorgeous! I would have a hard time letting go if I had to sell this lovely lady. Nice pictures, and I’m wild about the lilac bushes.

Very impressive, not only the careful renovation of the house but also the extensive documentation of its history, the builder and all the owners. The website goes through the restoration over the years, from some nasty looking before photos to the fine old family home it is now.

The more I look at the photos the more I love it! Very charming exterior with the millwork around the windows and historic street lights. The kitchen cabinetry is rare and beautiful. We lived in Minneapolis up until 2 years ago and the “wedge” neighborhood is highly desirable and in the area of all the exquisite homes and many lakes. I’m impressed that they stripped the woodwork in some areas which much have been very tedious, now it’s stunning. We lived in a historic neighborhood in northeast (AKA Nordeast) Minneapolis and the residents took a vote on paying for the historic street lights and we got them! Residents had to pay for them gradually in their taxes but they added tremendous value and beauty to the neighborhood.

Certianly a labor of love and a great job! The house is beautiful! I certainly can understand the difficulty it would be to place this in any typical victorian style. It shows the clients, builders and architects of the time were willing to ‘color outside the lines’ and with amazing results!
