Thanks for showing the recognized architectural style and date upfront on these homes — it helps those of us who don’t identify the period on sight. It looks like the owners have carried the Prairie genre throughout the house in great fashion. Is the green stove in the kitchen really a functioning one? And is that a retro refrigerator? What a nice home it is!

Agreed – its always a pleasure to see a house which has obviously been not only loved by its owners – but respected as well. In this case the house was respected enough that its stylistic integrity was carried into the very thoughtful and successful basement renovation. There is no split-personality syndrome with this house… it’s truly impressive!

This house is so wonderful, it’d make me consider moving to Utah. I love that bedroom with the glass doors out to the porch-and that shower! I need one of those! At least that’d be one plant I’d never forget to water. I really love all the wood in this house, whether its on the floor or walls. Off to check out the realtor’s site!

I love this house. The kitchen detail is remarkable and those slag glass doors are to die for. I enjoyed the 3-d virtual tour. It gives a person more of an idea of the layout of the house instead of random photos. Wish more homes could be viewed this way.

I love this house! It is absolutely perfect. Bravo homeowners for doing such a good job. wow.
Utah sure looks appealing right now as I am waiting for family to arrive after being evacuated from the Woolsey Fire in CA. Tough day in CA…

Oh, gee! Do the tour! What details here. Lamp fixtures, hardware, and thoughtfully executed updates. That’s the basement? No way! Great use of space and adherence to Prairie-Craftsman principles. And as for the painted wood upstairs, while I always want the bare, beautiful wood, in this case the color choices all complement the home’s tradition and history. Perhaps it was already painted and they opted for this instead of the tedious stripping. Who knows? What I do know is that this home is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Utah sounds pretty good about now.
