    The William Faber (1787-1867) mentioned came to the area from Pennsylvania and built a mill here that the community was named after. The home appears consistent with his history and was likely built in the late Federal period c.1830’s.

    Love it! The floors and paint choices make it look warm and cosy.

    I thought that given the build date there would have been wide plank floor.
