This delightfully embellished 1892 American Queen Anne Victorian home has been lovingly preserved throughout the years and featured on the Tecumseh Promenade of Historic Homes. Stepping onto the intricately spindled wraparound porch sets the mood for what is to come. The welcoming parlor showcases a bay window with windowseat, leaded windows, gas fireplace with original mantle, original hardwood flooring and original doors. Modern hickory kitchen has a wall of paned windows overlooking the picket-fenced backyard with paver patio and established perennial gardens. Here you enjoy lilies, roses, peonies, clematis and a perfect space for growing vegetables. No Victorian is complete without little surprises such as a hand painted mural, stained glass window, and clawfoot tub. Plumbing and electric have been updated, and high efficiency furnace has been regularly maintained. Deep one car garage has automatic opener. Nice concrete drive and parking area. Warranty Included!

Charming, although I think I’d have to rearrange the kitchen for my own mental health 🙂

LOL. Maybe live with it for a few months and see if it works for you? The cabinetry is actually HQ and attractive. Kitchen updates should be the last item on the to-do list, after long consideration and budget priorities applied elsewhere imo. I’d guess about 3% of Kitchen Kontractors have any sensitivity to older homes.

This is a lovely QA cottage, very nicely renovated. The intact original woodwork is a reminder of the vast primeval hardwood forests of Michigan.

Exquisite. Absolutely perfect. I love every single inch of this beauty. I’d relocate to live there!

I’m not crazy about an of those wallpapers, but I love this house! I love lots of natural light, and does this house ever fit that bill. I’m just wondering, if there are hardwood floors under the dark blue carpet. And, is that fabric on the ceiling of that room? Pretty cool looking, but a bit fancy for the likes of lil’ ol’ me. I really like that kitchen-again, tons of natural light through that wall of windows. The yard landscaping is nice, and the brickwork outside is great. I just wish there was more of a yard with this lovely house.

Would like to know where the stairway is. This looks bigger than the sq ft listed.

I used to live a few blocks away from this house. So many charming houses on Chicago Blvd. I would say the stairway is behind the door in the rose wallpapered dinning room. The house we lived in had a stairway behind a door in the dining room also.

Looks larger than listed Square footage to me also. Maybe due to a lack of furniture?
