The front view is stunning with those tall windows and shutters. The palest blue in the living room is elegant with the ceiling height and windows.

Exactly the reasons I posted this one. 🙂

This is what restoration and renovation are supposed to do: Keep the character of the place, add modern function, while doing no harm. Whoever is the owner, they achieved it. Well done.

I think I passed out for a minute. Oh, what a house, and oh, what a street!

This isn’t too far from Esplanade, too!

I wanted to move to NOLA for yeeeeeears, and then changed my mind, but this house threw kindling on the fire.

If there wasn’t a heat advisory in effect and I didn’t have to work to pay bills, I’d consider running away to NOLA for the afternoon. I could be there in time for mid afternoon beignets. 😀

Next to rustic prims this has to be my favorite house style. Wonder if I could remuddle my eclectic home into a Shotgun?
