    A lot of the woodwork style seems to harken back to the 1880’s – but since the build date is 1890 that is not surprising.
    I wonder what that wooden framed thing in photos 8 and 9 would be. Looks like a dumbwaiter but could it be? Just a little mystery. Or a special cupboard for hats?

    I just love the front staircase. Reminds me of a house we lived in when I was a boy.
    I get the same vibe looking at the kitchen, but can’t put my finger on it.
