I hope whomever is buying this beauty, doesn’t slather it with white paint all over the beautiful wood. it’s one of my pet peeves.

I spent some lovely days in the lovely old Nelson home in Thomaston. Three sisters (my father’s cousins) lived here – the family home that their father built. We often visited in July during peach season and were welcomed for a good old southern meal. They made the best mint iced tea. They sold it a few years ago when the last sister moved to live with her daughter. It doesn’t look much changed except for the addition of the deck on the back.
