    Curious that the downstairs columns are round, but the staircase and pillars on the landing are craftsman all the way.

    An unusually happy combination of stylistic influences; the staircase, with its arcaded landing and hybrid Craftsman/Colonial Revival balustrade, is tantalizing! This house has TONS of potential waiting to be realized. Given the thoughtful original finishes elsewhere, one can only imagine what might lurk beneath the Z‑BRICK® veneer of the fireplace in that interesting inglenook (apparently “updated” in the 1970’s)! The entry hall is especially nice.
