This home is too unique to describe. Two 18 century houses connected to make a unique home located on Salmon Creek which opens into the Albemarle Sound. Only 2 miles from Historic Edenton by boat and 20 minutes by land. This home features interior panel wainscoting that reflects both Federal and Georgian period influences. Many original doors, mantels. The Ward Bass house dates from 1770 - 1809 and has 1,200 Sq. Ft. while the connected White-Lilly house contains an additional 600 Sq. Ft. The home offers a peaceful setting with a long front porch overlooking Salmon Creek.

Reading the will was pretty interesting — all those kids not to mention slaves — and they all lived in this one house — wow!
