    1910 Tudor/craftsman mix

The pictures leave me longing for more interior photos. But wow is this ever an intriguing property for that kind of money. I love the stained woodwork, that spiral stairway, and the fabulous old chandelier. And some acreage and a 3 car garage and those porches with a view. Beautiful project for some lucky person.

I feared this was going to be one of those over-modernized stinkers, but it actually has some wonderful old details. I hope more pics become available.

Looks like an 1870’s Italianate that had some Arts & Crafts style updates in the c. 1910 era. Wish there was a good photo of the curved staircase. It looks like the house is in a very picturesque location.

Price was 260k first of Jan and dropped to 140k. Taxes are very high, I wonder if that is the reason for price drop. What a deal! Great investment for some lucky person! I also wish there were more pictures.

Love this house. I am dying to strip the wallpaper, throw open the windows, see what additions I could tear down and to pick paint colors for the exterior facade. I know that a lot of you like Italianates white but they weren’t meant to be white, they should be a rich color that highlights the trim. I know the additions spoil many of the lines and I really would like to take them off. Do you really need more than 3700 square feet to live in? We downsized from 3300 square ft to 2000 and we really like it. Think about the heating costs? Also the tax appraisal for the house is double the value, get that fixed and your taxes would be more reasonable. Last but not least, it is a cold morning so an irish coffee for the piano being left ?

Looks to be a organ not a piano . I know some of the towns in New York will adjust the taxes according to income /disabilities/ military.
