  1. A river view and great simple style. I would love it. I’m Norwegian so the cold I could handle. Now if I could just talk my wife into moving there……

  2. Ok, that broken slate wall in the basement bar is a really neat wall treatment that I have never seen before.

  3. Why can’t it be an hour south!!! I’m desperately looking for a house like this near Northfield…. it’s just as beautiful as all the others posted here…

    • Janet, if it were an hour south we’d be fighting over it — or maybe could double up!
SO close to what I’m looking for……….

  4. Oh, this is everything I could want, including the two car garage. Why can’t it be further west?

  5. I would love to live in a house on the Mississippi and this home would be perfect–if it weren’t for the cold. My arthritis would be most unhappy but the rest of me’s in love!

  6. Interesting… beautifully clean home! I am used to stucco in the South west but never have seen such treatment to the exterior this far north east… Love the kitchen and baths… is there some kind of ground reinforcement along the property at the rivers edge?

    • Stucco is very common in St. Cloud. I lived in a similar vintage home on the other side of the river, also stucco. The river bank there doesn’t need to be reinforced there, and it’s high, so it doesn’t flood. However, if you wanted direct access to the river, you’d need a staircase, which might or might not be approved. This was a nice area of town twenty or so years ago. As far as I know, it still is.
