I’m in! It has tons of potential & personality — would make a terrific residence.

I would keep it as a church and make it a Wedding venue… just can’t see it as a residence, but then again I am old fashioned…

No cemetery on the property is a plus, in my way of thinking. I love the stain glass. It is unusual.

Kelly, do you ever run across similar size churches in Mississippi for sale? Other than ride country roads looking , I am at a loss as to find . Have not found any in the past years on local listing sites.

Just posted one not long ago…
      https://www.oldhousedreams.com/2017/11/01/c-1832-church-lorman-ms/

Mississippi is a hard state to search in, a lot of towns are not in the MLS system and I’m not able to free up time to search non-MLS agencies. An agent explained to me the reason are the fees they have to pay, most agents can’t/don’t pay the fees for their listings to be include in the MLS system so they don’t show up in national sites like Realtor, Redfin, Zillow, etc. Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and some of Alabama tend to be harder to search because of that reason.

I would like an old church in Pennsylvania. Or an old school house that could be made into condos.

    Open to any area.

  8. I love this site so much. I learn so much about old houses from others and discover houses for sale I never dreamed of. And churches and old buildings too! This site is my reward and escape fror the crazy moments in life! And so wonderful that so many others have this passion. And I love, love, love, this church.

Love the church dog and little potty chair. Do you think they come with?
