Victorian Sweetheart Begging to be Flipped! Pick up where the previous rehabber left off - those boarded up windows are all finished and ready to be installed, also decorative pieces for the porch are finished. This beautiful painted lady needs some TLC to restore her to her former glory, overlooking the village, with views of the Medomak River. Great bones, nice floor plan, excellent period details including tin ceiling and wood floors - just needs some more time and attention to bring back her splendor!

  1. This home needs a lover, not a flipper. At least the realtor does mention the decorative porch pieces, the tin ceilings, and the wood floors.

  2. We’ve seen a lot of original, residential installations of tin ceilings this year: the same or maybe even more that I’d ever seen before. I used to think they were super rare, but maybe not. This does not include tin squares someone ordered from a vendor advertising in the back pages of the Vicky mag., and then stuck up indiscriminately. I’m talking about custom designed, period, ceilings meant stand in for highly decorative plaster treatments. So cool.

  3. Thia house appears to,be solid and in good shape structurally. I hope someone buys it to live in, not to flip. Beautiful.

  4. I like this home. Of course, lots to do. Wish it wasn’t in town. Does anyone ever find treasures, when they tear out walls? Put this out in the countryside and I would be interested.

  5. Hi everyone, just saw this site and thought I’d comment. I’m the realtor who listed and sold this home – and thought you might all like to know, the home was purchased by a lover, not a flipper and she is in the process of careful restoration now. The headline ‘Victorian Lady Begging to be Flipped’ was supposed to sound more like a flirty catch line 🙂 Here’s an article about it, and another historic home in town: http://lcnme.com/currentnews/historic-buildings-undergo-revitalization-waldoboro-village/
