This is a home run on so many levels. I’d even move back to Ohio to live here…

Another thing: this town is JAMMED with terrific older houses, I mean loaded with the good stuff. The neighborhood is wonderful. Like this one just down the street:

Wow, it is a cool neighborhood! This makes me wish us OHD’ers could do a multi-city tour of all the great neighborhoods in America. There are a few I’ve posted that would be great to visit in person, this town would make the list. Maybe that could be a 5 year goal? 😀

Neat house! Really like its newel post at the foot of the stairs – don’t think I’ve ever seen one exactly like it. And all of the French doors, plus the glazed pocket door – nice! The little door in the upstairs hallway’s wall… a laundry chute or access to tub plumbing?

That front porch just looks so – kit-house-ish.

I like the multi roofed Craftsman houses the best, but nice house. However, the jewel is the neighborhood. A little too much infill building in a few places, but what a rhapsody of styles. These houses look like everyday people live in them, they are not all fancied up. This is a walk your dogs, visit with your neighbors and have get togethers neighborhood.
