What a lovely home! Just adore the windows and wood work!
The enclosed porch there is so much, I think this home is a gem! Needs just a little tlc.

Great house but much of the privacy will be lost when trees way too close to the foundations are cut to prevent the walls from being destroyed. Never plant big trees closer than 25′ from a foundation wall. It’s just courting disaster!! It also ruins the paint job as branches brush the house. Needs to be done ASAP here.

Landscape, cut trees near home, remove carpet, paint outside, remove paper, paint inside neutral colors so wood “pops”….improvements to this home are cheap…the guts of the house is fantastic as is the $74,000 price….

It looks like this neighborhood is on the cusp of being revived. Some former Grand homes in pretty bad shape one direction, and some very nice restored homes the other. This one is a gem. All that architectural detailing! I’d rip out carpets and wallpaper and paint it. Weird structure in photos 5-6 maybe a ham radio tower?

I looked, and Carrollton is just at the edge of the Missouri floodplain (but not in it!) and pretty easy access to both Columbia and Kansas City. For someone wanting a wonderful small town experience, this could be the place.
