    The listing shows a 100k jump up in the price. I wonder if that is to cover the updates being done. Not too clear if the other 50% will be done or not.

    Graham, the price hike was only 12 days after the $349K listing – very strange. An input error? Change of heart? Selling a property in mid-renovation is confusing to buyers even without that. I like it though.

    I would have to assume the price is based on “land value”. This is one case where perhaps the ‘smart’ thing to do is sell the house and an acre or two at a more reasonable price, and sell the land off separately. Glad it has a new roof but I’m not seeing “more than 50 percent remodel” here. If they get realistic , they will likely sell it, but its a hard sell when I look at what still needs to be done exterior with painting and siding repairs. Great project house though.

  4. Wow! I vote keep just 5-10 acres and sell the rest to pay for the house and some of its restoration.

    I am digging that rock wall.
