Probably a plan book house as there’s a very similar house design in Ft. Worth, TX (the Lusher House built c. 1895; streetview URL: http://goo.gl/maps/1zWci ) The almost 3,000 sq. ft. figure seems exaggerated but the back view shows additions to the house. At $15k it obviously needs work but as seen in the Ft. Worth version this kind of house can look very nice post restoration.

Zillow states this is not for sale.

Sorry, I did call to see if I could see it and they said it was sold. But I thought I saw it said sold on some site but perhaps it was not on Zillow. And the one in Lancaster Ky I was going to see it in fact I had an appointment and on the way there the realtor told me it was under contract but who knows.

Back on the market but now at $25,000.

I love folk Victorian homes, and this one could be gorgeous with a lot of work and money put into it. Why they raised the price is confusing though. For 15,000.00 it would be a steal, even if you had to put another 100,000.00 of work into it.

Truly sad. Metal roofs of this kind seldom leak so there must have been other considerations involved in deciding to demolish. Not many twin towered examples of this design remain. Thanks for letting us know.
