Seems very reasonably priced for the location and almost 5 acres. Not a grand old house but nice enough for a period farmhouse. Probably had more distinctive Greek Revival details originally. Some later details evident indication it was lived in for many decades. Famous Gothic Revival architect Andrew Jackson Downing was born in Newburgh in 1815. Nice old barn and picturesque surroundings.

A good house for someone. I like the old kitchen sink. 🙂

Flipped? Or shortly lived in. Back on the market. I’m sad they got rid of the nice tub and sink in the bathroom. Same for the kitchen sink. A ho-hum renovation, IMO. link to new pics

Someone must have gotten a super deal before renovation to have it back on the market at $235k. Typical flip fix-up with replacement thermal windows, paint, etc. Now in the old house “lite” category-a mix of old and new for folks who like the look but essentially want a new house inside.
